Senior Pega Developer​/Architect

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Pega Developer / Architect to design, build, and modernize enterprise workflow applications supporting our clients investor communications business, including proxy processing, regulatory disclosures, and shareholder communications. You’ll lead technical design across Pega applications, guide development teams, and help move legacy processes onto scalable, cloud-ready BPM platforms. This will be a 6–12-month contract position. Will need to be onsite and can possibly move to more of a hybrid role in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end Pega solutions, including case design, data models, integrations, and user interfaces.

• Serve as technical lead on Pega implementations, setting design standards and enforcing Pega guardrails and best practices.

• Translate business requirements into scalable Pega application designs in partnership with business architects and product owners.

• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP services, connectors, and messaging queues.

• Lead modernization efforts, including upgrades to Pega Infinity and migration toward Constellation/Cosmos UI and Pega Cloud or AWS.

• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support release management.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and technical guidance.

• Contribute to Agile delivery, including sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Pega PRPC/Infinity development.

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) required;
Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) strongly preferred for architect-level candidates.

• Deep expertise in case management, flows, decisioning, data pages, activities, and declarative rules.

• Strong integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka/JMS, and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).

• Experience with Pega deployment pipelines (Deployment Manager, CI/CD) and application performance tuning (PAL, PDC).

• Proven experience leading technical design in large, complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial services experience, ideally in proxy processing, corporate actions, investor communications, or regulatory reporting.

• Experience with Pega Constellation, Pega Cloud, or AWS-hosted Pega deployments.

• Familiarity with other BPM platforms such as Appian or Camunda.

• Exposure to Pega GenAI, Customer Decision Hub, or robotic process automation.

• Experience working with distributed or offshore delivery teams
