Service Associate; Teller - Travel

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Service Associate – Reserve (Travel Teller) to join our team. This full‑time position focuses on providing high‑quality customer service by accurately and efficiently completing bank transactions and suggesting products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of bank customers. We support you so you can exceed personal production goals while delivering a meaningful customer experience.

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and problems with solutions that meet the customers’ current needs.
• Continually build customer loyalty and advocacy.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, vault, and ATM.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting.
• Follow information‑security policy and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the banking center.
• Sell bank products, make customer referrals, and participate in daily/weekly meetings and coaching sessions.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.
