Cath Lab Radiology Technician (Cardiac Cath Lab)

Full-time and part-time for Munster location.

Under the supervision of the Manager/Supervisor and with medical direction from physicians, the Cardiac Cath Lab Radiological Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require administering prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The technician will function with independent judgment and little or no assistance to maintain department standards. Employees may be assigned to work in Main or MOB departments at management's discretion.

• Graduate of an ARRT‑certified school of radiological technology.
• Must be ARRT registered.
• Must have a current license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana.
• One year of experience in general radiology preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Special Imaging preferred.
• Should have a working knowledge of angiographic procedures and sterile techniques.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months from starting date.
• Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Course.
