What you’ll be doing :
  • Achieve and exceed budget targets and stretch targets as agreed with Head of Retail Sales.
  • To drive the business by ensuring a key focus on sales development including; effective prospecting, new business development and development of existing accounts.
  • Support development team with securing new sites and managing through with MRPI development teams.
  • To ensure the successful management of debt and margin for the region in line with budget targets and company policy.
  • Compilation and analysis of industry knowledge, competitor and market information and proactively taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Ensuring that external relationships with customers and suppliers (as appropriate) are managed in line with customer service best practice.
  • Through effective relationship development, suitable communications and by delivering commercial value ensure that a strong sense of identity with, and loyalty to, Musgrave Wholesale Partners is established among our customer base.
  • Management of Actual profit targets, managing bespoke contracts and ensuring Cost price increases are implemented at pace.
  • Proactively ensuring that relationships internally with service providers are effectively managed and are harmonious.
  • Ensure Daybreak concept providers, including Coffee are effectively managed to ensure retailer engagement and brand roll out.
  • Engage with MRPI development teams to actively ensure conflict is managed and all new site opportunities are discussed to ensure we meet new store targets. This includes ‘winning in’ key counties in line with commercial plan targets.
  • Planning and support for Daybreak conference every 2 years.
  • Support for Daybreak, working closely with marketing to ensure brand stays refreshed.
  • Ensure close relationships with trading and marketing for Daybreak offers, ensuring relevant and meting retailers and customers needs.
  • Support quarterly Daybreak retail council meetings, ensuring we are actively leading our retailers requirements and driving the Daybreak brand.
  • To report to the Head of Retail Sales at least once a week on sales figures, development plans, account activity, individual’s performance level and competitor information.
  • Management, motivation and recruitment of the Daybreak & Independent Retail sales team.
  • To be an active and effective member of the Regional Sales Teams and successfully deliver the business development strategy for each region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication links with the Regional Sales and Operations teams.
  • Organization and management of monthly Daybreak & Independent Retail sales meetings and attendance at each monthly Regional Sales and Operations Meeting.
