My client, a publicly traded real estate company for over 25 years, is hiring a Senior Accountant to support growth. The company has tenured employees and great benefits. The salary is up to $110,000 base, plus a 10% bonus and equity. This is a permanent direct hire and is onsite in Murfreesboro.

Overview of the Senior Accountant:

• Lead the monthly consolidation and financial reporting process for multiple entities, ensuring GAAP compliance, accurate eliminations, minority interest accounting, and timely close activities.
• Review and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliations from third-party operators, resolving discrepancies, investigating variances, and ensuring accuracy of reported results.
• Manage accounting and reporting for complex partnership and management agreement structures, including capital activity, intercompany transactions, allocations, and incentive fee calculations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and SOX compliance by documenting processes, performing control procedures, supporting audits, and improving accounting workflows and reporting efficiency
• Partner with Asset Management and Finance teams on budgets, forecasts, management reporting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Experience with consolidation of multiple entities
