Accounting Technician

This position is located in the Finance Department of the Tennessee Valey Health Care System in Murfreesboro Tennessee.

To qualify for this position, applicant(s) must meet the following qualification requirements.

• Maintains control accounts and subsidiary accounts, process and analyzes complex accounting data using automated accounting systems.
• Receives and reviews a wide variety of obligation documents to include purchase orders, contracts, and travel orders.
• Performs the analysis of deposits, identification and clearance of items in Suspense and other clearing accounts.
• Processes rejected transactions, training orders, and other transactions.
• Coordinates the input and output accounting requirements with serviced program areas.
• Participates in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
