Annual Salary: $38,286 - $41,087

Rutherford County Animal Services (PAWS) is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to provide administrative, dispatch, and customer service support for daily operations. This role involves answering phones, processing documentation, entering calls into the Chameleon system, maintaining records, and assisting the public.

• Answer and route telephone and pager calls
• Provide customer service and respond to routine inquiries
• Enter calls and activities into Chameleon
• Process and maintain records and documentation
• Prepare reports and correspondence
• Perform data entry and verify accuracy
• Coordinate communication between staff, agencies, and the public
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with computers and office software
• Valid Tennessee driver's license
• Ability to work scheduled hours at an assigned workstation
