- Partner with senior leaders across Barrett and the wider Group to ensure business activities align with overall strategic goals and growth initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of a best-in-class business capture process, driving collaboration, communication, and training across departments.
- Oversee capture and proposal efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams to craft winning strategies and compelling solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors while helping close strategic business opportunities.
- Monitor markets, competitors, and customer trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement by refining operational policies, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering or a related field required. Equivalent professional experience or combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2-3 years Military/Law Enforcement BD/Sales experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the BD/Sales/Capture Management process of manufactured products in the firearms/defense space required.
- Productive firearms experience with a strong background in managing contracts, negotiating and selling at senior levels.
- Meet all federal and state legal qualifications to possess and work with firearms under the Gun Control Act and related legislation.
- Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
