As Executive Producer, you’ll own the vision for the newscast, lead your team through story creation to produce compelling, timely, and accurate newscasts, build a positive team culture, generate story ideas that reflect your local community, and make data‑informed decisions to connect your audience with the stories that matter.

• Uniting a team of storytellers
• Overseeing projects from start to finish, including breaking news coverage and issue‑driven special programming
• Hands‑on management and training opportunities involving graphics, cameras, and cross‑newsroom workflow

• Five or more years of experience in producing and executive producing television news
• Two or more years of management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience
• Basic editing skills and ability to effectively train others
• Preferred working knowledge of general computer software
• Open to travel to discover important stories in the neighborhood and engage the community
• Flexible with different shifts and schedule changes

• Working knowledge of newsroom software and basic non‑linear editing systems
• May be required to lift up to five pounds

• Primarily works inside a climate‑controlled environment throughout the year, with occasional field duties
• Semi‑noisy newsroom environment
