Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to healthcare facilities in Murfreesboro. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating patients through various imaging techniques, ensuring accurate and timely medical care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse radiology projects and make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and patient records.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure risks.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
- Providing guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and support staff.
- Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology and a valid state medical license.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Radiologist in a clinical setting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate diagnosis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using radiology equipment and imaging software.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts
Must be board-certified
Any state license accepted
