Civil Engineer

Licensed Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Licensed Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in land development and infrastructure design to join our growing team. This individual will take a lead role in project management, design oversight, and quality assurance for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, and multi-family developments
. The ideal candidate combines technical excellence with leadership, collaboration, and client engagement skills.

• Perform complex engineering design and calculations including hydrology and hydraulics
  , detention pond sizing
  , storm sewer
  , water distribution
  , and sanitary sewer systems
  .
• Review personal and team work for accuracy, coordinate peer reviews, and play a key role in the firm’s QA/QC program by solving complex design issues and validating feasibility of designs.
• Prepare and review concept plans, civil layouts, and due diligence reports for site development projects.
• Lead infrastructure design for roadways, stormwater systems, water mains, and sanitary sewers
  , ensuring compliance with municipal and state standards.
• Oversee plan production and manage the project approval process with municipalities, governmental agencies, and private entities.
• Develop technical specifications, construction contracts, SWPPP documents, and permit applications
  , and provide construction administration services.
• Collaborate closely with CAD technicians and review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
  .
• Establish and maintain project schedules
  , coordinate directly with clients, and ensure high-quality deliverables that align with both client objectives and regulatory standards.
• Attend and lead meetings with clients, agencies, and consultants; represent projects at Planning Commission, City Council, and other public hearings as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility with additional hours during critical project phases.

• Prepare cost proposals and assist in developing qualifications packages for new pursuits.
• Identify emerging tools, software, and educational opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen company capabilities.
• Participate in business development efforts
  , attend networking functions, and contribute to maintaining and expanding client relationships.
• Support management in identifying new markets, services, and client opportunities aligned with company goals.
