Fort Golf Snack Bar Manager

Position Title: Old Fort Golf Snack Bar Manager

Location: City of Murfreesboro, TN

This safety-sensitive position requires a candidate who passes drug and alcohol testing. The manager will efficiently manage daily operations of the snack bar and food & beverage services at Old Fort Golf Course. Responsibilities include food & beverage service, inventory control, cash handling, customer service, facility oversight, and staff supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations.

• Communicate in spoken and written English to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Assist in management and operation of the facility for daily use.
• Assist in purchasing, inventory, and merchandising of products and/or food & beverage items for resale.
• Open and close the facility as needed; ensure building is secure and participants have left before closing.
• Supervise designated areas as assigned and monitor reservation/rentals.
• Supervise part‑time staff scheduled shift, if assigned.
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, and policies.
• Listen and respond to participant concerns and/or complaints.
• Operate a point‑of‑sale terminal, personal computer, and job‑related software.
• Conduct daily business and accurately handle cash along with preparing daily financial reports and deposits.
• Work five (5) days a week with weekend if needed.
• Render aid as needed, including administering CPR and using an AED device.
• Perform other assigned work.

• Perform work that is standing, sitting, and walking; bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting equipment/objects up to 50 lbs intermittently.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience working in retail including inventory management and supervisory duties.

• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No tips allowed for full‑time snack bar manager.
