Job Summary

The HRIS Senior Administrator plays a key role in the maintenance, configuration, and support of our Human Resource Information System (Dayforce). This role serves as a liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the system meets business needs, remains compliant, and supports a seamless end-user experience. The HRIS Sr Administrator will facilitate user adoption, develop and deliver systems training for users, and act as a support escalation point.



Job Summary

The HRIS Senior Administrator plays a key role in the maintenance, configuration, and support of our Human Resource Information System (Dayforce). This role serves as a liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the system meets business needs, remains compliant, and supports a seamless end-user experience. The HRIS Sr Administrator will facilitate user adoption, develop and deliver systems training for users, and act as a support escalation point.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with multiple HRIS modules and can analyze, troubleshoot, and improve HRIS processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for the Dayforce platform, including modules such as Workforce Management, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent.
  • Maintain and configure Dayforce system settings, user roles, workflows, and notifications.
  • Support HR and Payroll teams with day-to-day troubleshooting, issue resolution, and data integrity checks.
  • Collaborate on system upgrades, new module implementations, and ongoing optimization projects.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver reports and dashboards using Dayforce Ad Hoc Reporting and Analytics tools.
  • Configure, test, and support annual processes such as benefits open enrollment, performance reviews, etc.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and changes.
  • Partner with IT and Dayforce support to resolve technical issues and deploy solutions.
  • Train HR team members and end users in system functionality and best practices.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS, prefer 2 years of hands-on Dayforce administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and system integrations across HR, Payroll, Time, and Benefits.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with confidential data and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Excel and report-building tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Finance.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities

  • Experience with Dayforce XML Forms, HR Import/Export, or Integration Studio a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce API or RESTful integrations.
  • Ceridian Dayforce certifications (e.g., WFM, Payroll) highly desirable.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends.
