As part of the Human Resources encabezado of Excellence (CoE), the Human Resources Specialist will provide a variety of administrative services in support of the Human Resources department, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), and the business. Aligning with staffing, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, health and safety programs, and payroll.
Essential duties and responsibilities- Provides specialized HR process expertise and support to employees and HRBPs in payroll, time and attendance, benefits, health and safety, leave requests, immigration process, and company policies and programs, as well as HR administration activities including data entry and maintenance of personnel/medical files.
- Serv Brush as a point of contact for HR related questions and acts as a liaison between Payroll, HRIS, HR Business Partners, Finance, and IT.
- Manages and processes HR transactions including onboarding, new hires, terminations, job and personal data changes, organizational changes, employee verifications, life event changes, leave requests, timekeeping, and other routine functional HR work.
- Works with HRIS Specialist on data maintenance issues, testing, research, and acts as SME on HR business processes.
- Coordinates and communicates employee-related events throughout the year such as open enrollment, benefits fair, health fair, compliance training, etc.
- Helps to develop, refine, and improve existing processes to effect continuous improvement and assists in development and implementation of company standard HR operating procedures (SOPs), including providing support with interpretation and application.
- Undertakes and manages projects and new initiatives as directed by the HR Manager to support the achievement of the CoE and HR strategy.
- Reliable attendance is a must.

Knowledge, skills and abilities- Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and personnel information systems.
- Intermediate Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Basic Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
- High Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization; ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills – Excel, Ultipro HRIS Systems.
- Associate’s Degree in related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
