Production Supervisor

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Production Supervisor to assist with operation activities at our Smyrna and Lebanon Tennessee quarry operations just outside Nashville, Tennessee. This would include safety leadership, production and plant/mobile equipment maintenance.

• Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management and effective leadership of the hourly workforce

This position will supervise up to 9 direct reports.

This job operates frequently in an operations and maintenance environment in a surface mine location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a full-time position, regularly requiring long hours and weekend work.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work/military experience
• 2+ years experience in aggregate operations, preferred
• Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment, preferred
