Job OverviewC&M Cabinets is seeking a highly organized and detail‑driven Cabinet Design Coordinator to support our high‑end custom cabinetry division. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between design and production—transforming cabinet concepts into accurate, build‑ready plans. You will manage shop drawings, material lists, and vendor coordination to ensure every detail aligns perfectly before production begins. This position is ideal for a technically skilled designer who thrives in a collaborative, hands‑on environment and takes pride in precision craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Create, revise, and finalize cabinet shop drawings using design software based on client specifications and field measurements.
- Translate design plans into accurate material lists and order sheets for production.
- Collaborate with the shop team to verify sizing, materials, and design feasibility before fabrication.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure materials and hardware are ordered accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Maintain and update job folders and production packets, ensuring all drawings, specifications, and order details are current.
- Identify and proactively resolve potential design or material conflicts before production begins.
- Keep detailed digital records of design files, orders, and supplier communications.
- Assist with design meetings and provide input on cabinet layouts and functionality improvements.
- Experience with cabinet design software (Cabinotch KCD Design preferred).
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and terminology.
- Proven ability to identify and correct inconsistencies in design or measurements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and field measurements.
- Skilled communicator who can collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in basic computer tools (spreadsheets, vendor portals, file management).

Full‑Time:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Occasional flexibility may be required for design deadlines or project meetings.
On‑site role based at the Jensen Quality Homes Design Office in Murfreesboro, TN, with periodic coordination visits to active project sites in Middle Tennessee.
