The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU delivers safe, effective, and family‑centered care in peri‑operative services for all patient populations. The RN reports to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.
ResponsibilitiesProvide patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with surgical teams, monitor patients during the peri‑operative period, and ensure smooth transitions from pre‑operative to post‑operative care.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- 1‑3 years of experience in Pre‑OP/PACU (preferred ambulatory setting).
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
- Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
