Tennessee State Veterans Home – Murfreesboro is currently looking for a Unit Manager - RN Full-Time/Day Shift.
We are seeking a dedicated Unit Manager Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise staffing for the nursing department, oversee and coordinate our nursing staff assigned to her area, assisting the Director of Nursing with assessing resident needs and implementing appropriate actions for treatment and care. The Nurse Manager RN will work as part of the nursing team to assess resident needs, plan and modify care along with implementing interventions.
The Unit Manger RN will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, providing guidance and support to the nursing team, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS- Candidate must have a current & active RN License.
- Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare or nursing home setting with management and supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance
- Ensure that all patient care plans are followed and that documentation is accurate and complete
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, and reorder as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulations
