The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. Key duties include patient positioning, preparation, and circulating the case with emphasis on orthopedic surgeries.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 3 years of operating room or circulating experience with orthopedic focus
- Current, unrestricted Tennessee RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Critical thinking and strong communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Knowledge of hospital policies and operating room procedures
