The RN Pre‑op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre‑op/PACU supports the perioperative services for all patient populations and reports to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.

• Provide quality patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Implement nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Deliver patient‑family centered care for all patient populations.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Report to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years of Pre‑OP/PACU experience (strong preference for ambulatory surgical center experience).
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
