TrustPoint Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality care to our patients in multiple specialized units.
Work Schedule Options- Full‑Time:
Three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week) - Part‑Time:
Two 12‑hour shifts per week (24 hrs/week) - PRN:
Mid‑Tier or High‑Tier commitment levels - Shifts:
Day or Night (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) - Rotating weekends
Adolescent, Adult Thought & Mood Disorders, Child, Geriatric, IDD, Physical Rehab & Medicine, ECT, PHP and more.

Located in Murfreesboro, TN
, TrustPoint is a state‑of‑the‑art inpatient psychiatric and physical rehab hospital within 30 minutes of Nashville. Our diverse specialty programs allow nurses to gain valuable experience across a range of populations.
As a Behavioral Health RN, you will interact with patients and families, develop treatment plans, conduct nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions- Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
- Practice within the scope of nursing regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure legible physician orders and document relevant information.
- Notify physicians of significant status changes (e.g., detox, medical emergencies).
- Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
- Demonstrate universal precautions in direct patient care.
- Accurately administer medications and document controlled substances.
- Maintain therapeutic rapport and professional boundaries with patients.
- Coordinate unit activities and communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold a current RN license (or be eligible to obtain one in the state of employment).
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; prior psychiatric, mental health, or substance use experience is a plus.
- CPR certification and de‑escalation & restraint training required (training available upon hire).
- First‑aid certification may be required based on state or facility needs.
