Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate:
Range $1800 to $2000 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit:
Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shift: 12 Hours;
Nights, 7p-7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend
Position Requirements :- Registered Nurse: 2 years
- Required - Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health: 1 year
- Required - Electronic Patient charting: 1year
- Preferred
- ASN or an equivalent
- Required - BSN or an equivalent
- Highly preferred - RN License for State of TN or Multi-State
- Required - CPI Certification
- Preferred - BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross
- Required
- Provide and coordinate care by assessingpatients' physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- The RN will maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
- The RN will provide nursing careand services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure physicians' orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
- Ensure patients' status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
- Notify physicians of significant changes in status
- The RN will ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and that all nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs.
