Job Description

Meaningful patient care. A supportive team. The connection of an independent provider group.

We are an independent medical provider group seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical care to patients in an inpatient facility.

You will be employed by our independent provider group and provide on-site services at the facility. You’ll work closely with facility staff while remaining part of our medical team, with physician collaboration and support.

We’re looking for someone who listens, takes patients’ concerns seriously, and brings sound clinical judgment and compassion to their work. As an independent group, we value relationships, teamwork, and dependable follow-through.

What you’ll do

  • Complete admission assessments, medical evaluations, and follow-up visits.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within your scope of practice.
  • Order and review medications, laboratory testing, and other appropriate services.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Recognize changes in patients’ conditions and coordinate additional evaluation or a higher level of care when needed.
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation to support continuity of care.
  • Provide PRN coverage based on facility needs and your agreed availability.

What we’re looking for

  • An actively licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in the state where services are provided.
  • Appropriate national certification and prescribing credentials for the role.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working independently with physician consultation and team support.
  • Inpatient, hospital medicine, or related clinical experience preferred.
  • A compassionate approach and a commitment to reliable, collaborative care.

Schedule: PRN / as needed, with coverage coordinated in advance.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to provide thoughtful medical care while being part of an independent group that values its people, we’d love to connect with you.
