Clovercroft Veterinary Hospital provides a range of veterinary services for dogs and cats, located in Northeast Franklin. The facility is clean, well‑run, and has a great atmosphere.

More About the Role

We are looking forward to adding another veterinarian to our team! Our hospital currently consists of three DVMs, two LVTs, and additional support staff who perform technician appointments, blood & lab testing, anesthesia monitoring, room preparation, phone communications, and more. Provide top‑class wellness, diagnostic, and surgical care. We partner with local nonprofits such as the TN Dialysis Campaign and the TN German Shepherd Rescue.

Responsibilities
  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, collect diagnostic samples, and interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end‑of‑life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
