Fort Golf Snack Bar Manager

This position is considered a Safety‑Sensitive position. Applicants who pass the interview process will be subject to drug and alcohol testing.

The purpose of this position is to efficiently manage the daily operations of the snack bar and food and beverage services at Old Fort Golf Course. This role is responsible for food and beverage service, inventory control, cash handling, customer service, facility oversight of the snack bar area, and supervision of assigned staff to ensure safe and efficient high‑quality operations.

• Must be able to communicate with others in spoken and written English to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the business.
• Assists in management and operation of the facility for daily use.
• Assists in the purchasing, inventory, and merchandising of products and/or food and beverage items for resale.
• Opens and closes the facility as needed; ensures building is secure and participants have left before closing.
• Supervises designated areas as assigned and monitors reservation/rentals.
• Supervises part‑time staff scheduled shift, if assigned.
• Enforces facility rules, regulations, and policies.
• Listens and responds to participant concerns and/or complaints.
• Effectively operates a point‑of‑sale terminal and personal computer and job‑related software.
• Conducts daily business and is responsible for accurately handling cash along with preparing daily financial reports and deposits.
• Ability to work five (5) days a week with weekend if needed.
• Renders aid as needed, including administering CPR and using an AED device.
• Performs other work as assigned.

• Performs work that is standing, sitting, and walking; however, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting and moving equipment and objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds is required on an intermittent basis.

• Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience working in retail including inventory management, supervisory or closely related.

• Current CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
• Must have or be able to obtain ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Must be knowledgeable of safe food handling practices.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
