Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate must intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports according to Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

• Education/Experience
  :
  High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills
  :
  Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  :
  Local food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands
  :
  Stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; in contact with cleaning supplies.

  Retail store environment; limited travel.
• Physical Appearance
  :
  Present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance; follow retailer dress code requirements.
• Language Skills
  :
  English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required depending on business necessity.
