We run four Massage Envy clinics in Tennessee and Oklahoma, and we run them differently. We use today's tools, and we keep adopting better ones. If a task can be automated or handled centrally, it is, so the GM's time goes to the work only a leader can do.

Your incentive is built on these goals, paid monthly when you hit them:

• Net member growth
• 22% sales closing (guests who become members)
• 40% advanced skincare
• Inactive members at or below goal
• Service hours
• Seasonal gift card sales:
  Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day/Grad and Christmas

You’ll see your numbers daily, and so will we. We meet with our GMs regularly to talk about what the numbers say and what to do next.

Base salary of $50,000–$60,000, plus monthly incentives on each goal above and seasonal gift card bonuses. Full-year incentive potential is about $28,000. The incentive is real money, and it’s earned, not guaranteed.

We keep benefits simple: paid time off and paid sick leave. Most of what we offer is in your paycheck.

• You’ve led a team for at least two years, ideally somewhere sales-driven: retail, hospitality, fitness or personal services.
• You can look at a number in the morning and act on it by lunch.
• You’ll have the direct conversation with the under performer, the unhappy guest, or the member who’s behind on payments.
• You coach on the floor, not from the office.
• You pick up new software quickly and expect your tools to work for you.
• You’re available when the clinic is busy, including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
