Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach / Goalkeeper Coach
- Assist the Head Coach with day to day coaching of student athletes;
- Train the goalkeepers;
- Recruit academically sound and competitive student athletes;
- Schedule to enhance championship opportunities;
- Manage equipment, organize and arrange team travel plans;
- Oversee and promote camps;
- Ensure compliance with NCAA rules among staff and student athletes;
- Budget assigned funds;
- Serve as an ambassador of the university and a valued member of the community.
Assist the University's Head Women's Soccer Coach in organizing and administering all aspects of the NCAA Division I women's soccer program. Assist in all phases of the development of a quality NCAA Division I soccer program that will be competitive on the field and in the classroom within NCAA guidelines and in a professional manner. Make public appearances and speak at civic events within the community.
Remain current on changes and enhancements in the sport of soccer. Expected to know and follow NCAA rules and regulations and successfully pass the recruiting test each year. NCAA Compliance documentation will be completed accurately and submitted to the compliance office in a timely fashion.
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.
- Two years of high school, college, or professional coaching and/or playing experience at the college level is expected.
- Proven ability to recruit academically and athletically qualified student athletes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
