Position Title:

Assistant Coach 1 – Women's Soccer

Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), a Division I institution and member of Conference USA, invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach/Goalkeeper Coach. The role will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the NCAA Division I women's soccer program.

• Assist the Head Coach with day‑to‑day coaching of student‑athletes;
• Train goalkeepers;
• Recruit academically sound and competitively strong student‑athletes;
• Schedule practices and competitions to maximize championship opportunities;
• Manage equipment and coordinate team travel plans;
• Oversee and promote camps; and
• Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and complete compliance documentation accurately and on time;
• Serve as an ambassador of the university and a valued member of the community.

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.

• At least two years of high‑school, college, or professional coaching and/or playing experience at the college level;
• Proven ability to recruit academically and athletically qualified student‑athletes;
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

• Five years of high‑school, college, or professional goalkeeper coaching and/or playing experience;
• Experience managing multiple video‑analysis, scouting, recruiting, performance‑tracking, and analysis software systems.
