Assistant Coach - Women's Soccer

Position Overview

Middle Tennessee State University, a Division I institution, member of the Conference USA, invites applications for the position of Assistant Women's Soccer Coach/Goalkeeper coach.

• assist the Head Coach with day to day coaching of student athletes;
• training the goalkeepers;
• recruiting academically sound and competitive student athletes;
• scheduling to enhance championship opportunities;
• managing equipment, organizing and arranging team travel plans;
• overseeing and promoting camps;
• compliance with NCAA rules among staff and student athletes;
• budgeting assigned funds;
• serve as an ambassador of the university and a valued member of the community;
• Assist the University's Head Women's Soccer Coach organize and administer all aspects of the NCAA Division I women's soccer program: assist in all phases of the development of a quality NCAA Division I soccer program that will be competitive on the field and in the classroom within NCAA guidelines and in a professional manner;
• Make public appearances and speak at civic events within the community;
• Remain current on changes and enhancements in the sport of soccer sport;
• Expected to know and follow NCAA rules and regulations and successfully pass the recruiting test each year to recruit for the university;
• NCAA Compliance documentation will be completed accurately and submitted to the compliance office in a timely fashion;

Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.

Two years of high school, college, or professional coaching and/or playing experience at the college level is expected. Proven ability to recruit academically and athletically qualified student athletes. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
