What You'll Do as a Warehouse Lead:

Lead and supervise daily shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and inventory activities

Train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates while reinforcing established policies and procedures

Review, prioritize, and organize outgoing orders to meet daily shipping deadlines

Assist with inventory control, safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

Coordinate with warehouse management and other departments to resolve operational and personnel-related issues

Lead by example by loading and unloading trucks and providing hands-on support during peak periods as needed

Maintain an organized, safe work environment and support 5S standards throughout the warehouse

What You Need to Bring to the Warehouse Lead Role:

High school diploma or GED required

At least 2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience required

Previous lead, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control processes

Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team leadership skills

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Forklift certification or ability to become certified; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred #metro careers
