Position Summary
:
This role requires a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.

Principal Activities
:
This role involves working on CAT 3500 and 3600 engines, Waukesha family of engines, Ariel and Dresser Rand compressors, and mechanically preparing engines and compressors for test runs in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Ability to read, write and speak English and understand P&'s.

• RUN TEST TECH 2:
  Experience working on CAT 3500 and 3600 engines and Waukesha family of engines; experience working on Ariel and Dresser Rand compressors; ability to mechanically prepare a coupled or uncoupled engine and compressor to test run; work well in a group; fast paced, high‑pressure environment; read, write and speak English; understand P&'s.
• RUN TEST TECH 3:
  Same as above; lead 1-2 people; work well in a group.
• RUN TEST TECH 4:
  Same as above; engine schools/training or experience on CAT 3500 and 3600 engines; compressor schools/training or experience on Ariel, Dresser Rand, Frick, Howden and Mycom compressors; work independently and lead a group.

• RUN TEST TECH 2: 1-2 years of relevant production and equipment related experience; 1-2 years with Murphy and Altronic controls, ADEM III, CAT, and Waukesha engines.
• RUN TEST TECH 3: 2-3 years with PLC; experience with electrical test equipment including 4-20mA signal generator, process meters, HART communicators, and other instrument testing tools.
• RUN TEST TECH 4: 5 years of relevant production and equipment related experience and/or training; 5 years with PLC, Murphy and Altronic controls, ADEM III, CAT, and Waukesha engines; thorough knowledge of compressor packages and electrical systems; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
