Responsibilities- As a Career Coach Admin, apply your desire to help develop others to support onboarding, training completion, connecting, and growing and advancing new and transferred Store Partners.
- Once eligible, become an Owner in the company, with commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service.

- PASSION FOR RESULTS: drive to support Store leaders in growing and advancing Partners
- We are looking for a passion to help Partners grow their career at H-E-B, from day 1; experience in retail operations or clerical work, and onboarding / coaching; advanced communication skills
- Administration tasks: ensures onboarding completion for each new and transfer Partner, conducts Store orientation, assigns/introduces a Partner Buddy
- Collaborates with Store Admin to transition new hires from paperwork to orientation; consults Department Managers to assign a Partner Buddy for training
- Partners with Department Managers to ensure hourly non-management Partners complete required training
- Schedules/instructor-led and computer-based trainings; documents all new-hire OJT completion; tracks total Store training
- Schedules first 90-day and 30-day check-ins with Partners, Managers, and Store Leaders
- Reviews internal communications; supports Store Leaders in talent planning; provides weekly updates on hiring, onboarding, training, and career planning
- Coordinates career conversations and development series for hourly non-management Partners with Store leadership
- Provides feedback about Partner strengths and training needs in partnership with Department Managers
- Communicates Partner concerns to Store leadership and HR Manager where appropriate
- May perform tasks of store Administrative Assistant as necessary
- Proactively supports Partner career development
- Promotes company values, competencies, and learning culture; fosters teamwork and collaboration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail store operations or in a clerical, administrative role, including scheduling and reporting
- Experience in scheduling, reporting, and tracking
- Experience in onboarding / communicating with groups
- Completion of required job skills and compliance-related training
- Knowledge of the business and Store and department operations
- Advanced verbal / written / interpersonal communication skills
- PC skills; proficiency in MS Office and People Soft
- Time-management, planning, coordinating, and organization skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to adjust coaching / communication style as needed
- Ability to provide feedback and effectively communicate to Partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently; self-motivated
- Function in a fast-paced environment with detailed, precision work
- Flexible schedule; onboarding may occur on weekends, overnight, or late evenings
- Demonstrate ability to lift up to 35 lbs and manage heavier loads with assistance
