Responsibilities include overseeing the daily planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities in a specific area. Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel to produce quality products at minimum costs. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards in the extrusion manufacturing process.
• Monitor production output to meet company and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to guarantee product quality.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols developed by Safety manager to prevent workplace injuries.
• Train employees on safety procedures and ensure compliance.
• Address safety concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment.

• Oversee the production process from setup to completion.
• Optimize production efficiency by adjusting equipment settings as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production to minimize downtime.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to production associates.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for employee growth.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two years in a production environment, preferably in aluminum extrusion.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform annual labor tasks.
• Skills:
  
  Strong organizational skills, knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to read measurements accurately.
• Preferred:
  History of showing initiative, familiarity with OSHA safety rules, and experience mentoring or supervising teams.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• A self-starter requiring minimal supervision and guidance.

• 8 hour shift with occasional OT as required. Monday to Friday.
