Our Machine Operators play a pivotal role in the success of Penn Aluminum’s future by ensuring our customers’ production, safety and quality demands are met.
** SUMMARY
* ** We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
*** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* * Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity*
* * Analyze capacity and lead times to optimize machine utilization and minimize scrap.*
* * Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, machine downtime or urgent orders.*
* * Communicate schedule updates and priorities to Production and Die Shop.*
* * Present production status and delivery timelines in daily Production/Scheduling meetings.*
* * Regularly evaluate Shop Orders and close completed operations, adjusting material variance as needed.*
* * Work with CSRs and Die Shop to create new parts for production and assist in the APQP process.

* * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).*
* * Excellent organizational and time management skills*
* * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.*
* * Effective communication skills.
*** QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*** High school diploma or GED preferred
*** WORK ENVIRONMENT

** Exposure to the following when on manufacturing floor:*

* * Exposure to extreme heat
