Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Mid Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Murphysboro Life Skills Re-Entry Center in Murphysboro, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

The schedule includes rotating weekends. Weeks 1 and 3, you will have M, Th, Sat off. Weeks 2 and 4, you will have Sun, T, F off. The schedule consists of 4 shifts/week. The schedule consists of 4 shifts/week. 2 - 8 hour shifts (12 p.m.

- 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

- 4 p.m.), 2 - 12 hour shifts (8 a.m.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
