This is a permanent PART-TIME role estimating 2-4 hours per week at each store.

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The collected data is analyzed to improve sales performance for products and retailers.

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. The role involves continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

• Convenience Store – Energy, IL – Monday-Friday
• Convenience Store – Marion, IL – Monday-Friday
• Pet Store – Carbondale, IL – Monday-Friday

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning of the entire store each week.
• Perform additional custom projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for certain weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
