Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Exceptional Roofing, LLC is excited to announce an opening for a Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This Full-Time position is tailored for professionals eager to advance their career in the commercial roofing industry. As an integral part of our operations, the successful candidate will manage various aspects of roofing projects, ensuring everything from initiation to completion aligns with our company's high standards of quality and safety.

Please note that this role requires a hands-on approach and is not eligible for remote work. Candidates should be prepared for frequent travel to project sites and be comfortable with a significant degree of hands-on management.

• Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional communication and strong relationships.
• Coordinate with foremen, crews, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Manage inventory and materials: order, track, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate usage records to avoid shortages or waste.
• Review contracts, specifications, and site drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project progress, costs, and labor; proactively resolve challenges to keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain essential project records, including reports, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor job status, ensure safety compliance, track inventory, and verify workmanship meets quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times.

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial roofing and 2–3 years of construction project management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up, Metal, etc.).
• Experience in inventory and materials management for construction or roofing projects.
• Solid organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic office software tools, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets, to manage project communications and track information.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays (this is a standard requirement of the position).
