Job Description

This position is allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician trained in internal medicine and interested in hospital medicine.

• This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.
• This is a unique opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.
• As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a qua ternary care academic hospital. You will also practice at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, which are two of the valley's community hospitals.
• While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
