Manager, Learning and Organizational Development
Donor Connect seeks a full-time Manager of Learning and Organizational Development that will be responsible for organizational/employee learning and the development efforts of Donor Connect. The Manager, Learning and Organizational Development (MLOD) leads organization-wide learning and development initiatives to enhance employee performance, leadership growth, and operational excellence. Partnering with leaders and subject matter experts, the MLOD designs and implements innovative educational strategies that strengthen training programs and support a culture of continuous improvement.
The role oversees onboarding, continuing education, and key programs such as simulation-based learning, annual training, leadership development, intern programs, and Skills Days. Responsible for managing the learning management system (LMS), curriculum design, and competency evaluations, the MLOD ensures all training aligns with regulatory and quality standards. Through collaboration and outcome-driven evaluation, this role advances organizational proficiency, adaptability, and compliance.

Under the supervision of the Director, Compliance and Development, the basic duties for this role include:
- Managing the Learning and Organizational Development department, setting and implementing the strategic goals of the department. Gaining support of team and other teams to meet these goals. Communicating and emulating the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Overseeing the financial activities and documentation of expenses and payroll.
- Being responsible for the quality assurance/improvement activities which includes internal audits and nonconformance review, KPI monitoring, staff training and regulatory standards.
- Employee engagement through performance management activities such as one‑on‑one meetings, providing feedback, coaching, following organization HR practices, and personal development planning.
- Daily operations of learning and organizational development programs to drive efficiency, adaptability, and continuous improvement. Manages all aspects of onboarding and continuing education, including program evaluation, stakeholder collaboration, and outcome reporting. Serves as the primary contact for external training partners and ensures all training initiatives align with regulatory and quality standards and develops plans to correct any deficiencies. Directs the learning management system (LMS), curriculum design, and educational modalities to enhance organizational learning.
- Manages key educational programs including simulation-based learning, Initial and Annual Employee Training, Leadership Development, Intern Programs, and Skills Days. Oversees demonstration-based competency evaluations to ensure staff proficiency and growth. Supports departmental leaders by providing guidance and learning strategies for performance improvement and development planning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training/
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health sciences, education, human resources or business administration preferred.
- Certification in organizational development, training and development, healthcare education, learning strategy or a related field preferred.
Experience
Required:
- Experience in a clinical education setting preferred.
- Experience maintaining and optimizing learning management systems.
- Experience developing training programs, curricula, needs assessments, and competency‑based assessments.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a leadership position.
