C&I is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team! This individual will plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor the progress of our work. The Project Engineer is the primary contact for engineering-related issues on the project and is responsible for coordinating engineering efforts with Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement, Construction, and Clients. They will work on highly technical projects.

C&I Engineering is a design and consulting firm operating in the oil & gas, food & beverage, distilled spirits, and renewables industries.

• Coordination of information and design efforts of multi-discipline project teams.
• Integrate discipline plans into a plan of execution.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical directions, codes, and design standards.
• Facilitate various types of project meetings.
• Create, understand, and coordinate cost estimates and execute engineering schedules.
• Delegate tasks related to the projects effectively.
• Lead the organizing, planning, controlling, and monitoring of progress for the engineering efforts on the project.
• Ensure project procedures for engineering are established, documented, and known to all discipline leads.
• Monitor the project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Contact clients independently to gather information and resolve issues.
• Identify work opportunities with existing clients.
• Ensure company policy and standards are followed on projects.

• 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10 years of related work experience preparing construction documents in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
• PE license preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

• Able to identify opportunities to create/improve relationships with clients and project team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites; role may require up to 25% travel.
