Assistant Civil Structural Designer

Overview

Assistant Civil Structural Designer role at C&I Engineering. This full-time position is part of the Civil/Structural team and focuses on developing designs for structural layouts in facilities such as refineries, distilleries, and consumer packaging facilities.

C&I Engineering is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management and procurement services to various clients.

• Create structural steel, reinforced concrete, and site design drawings.
• Use 3D modeling software to design structures. (CADWorx is preferred).
• Work with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
• Assist others in gathering field information with supervision.
• Check own work for completeness before submitting it to leads.
• File plots and checks prints in the project discipline file.

• 2-year technical degree with a specialization in computer-aided drafting and design, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Driver’s license
