Job Description- Creates and leads the promotion of health insurance products and services for assigned product lines.
- Creates and executes an annual marketing plan and strategy to retain, increase, and engage members with personalized marketing experiences.
- Leads complex work that significantly impacts company growth and retention goals in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Partners with internal business owners to coordinate and assist in the implementation of annual marketing campaigns within appropriate promotional budgets.
- Coordinates marketing efforts related to the promotion of products and services to ensure successful campaign implementation and outcomes.
- Coordinates and implements the development of marketing and sales tools that generate leads and promote, educate, and engage audiences.
- Works closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and the web team to oversee the creation of creative briefs, presentations, direct mail campaigns, web content, and digital campaigns.
- Ensures marketing materials meet regulatory, compliance, branding, and legal requirements.
- Attends product staff and project meetings and recognizes marketing and communication opportunities and develops strategies to meet objectives.
- Marketing Plan and Communication Strategy:
Leads the development of an annual marketing plan and communication strategy with the business owner. - Materials Creation:
Develops marketing and sales materials to support pre-enrollment, enrollment, and onboarding activities. - Research Strategy:
Works with the Consumer Insights/Market Intelligence team to capture feedback that informs the annual marketing plan. - Marketing and Resource Oversight:
Utilizes resources from multiple Marketing teams to oversee the launch of prioritized client marketing initiatives. - Project Management:
Uses project tracking software to create plans, manage deadlines and budgets, and provide status reports. - Budget Oversight:
Supports annual budget plans, manages approved budgets each year, and reconciles invoices. - Management:
Mentors interns, manages vendors, and oversees associated projects and budgets as assigned.
- Demonstrated experience in product marketing, account management, ad agency, or retail promotion, health insurance or healthcare communications or promotion.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with high complexity.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in health insurance or healthcare communications or promotion.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management and problem resolution.
- Demonstrated advanced experience working with word processing and other office software, desktop publishing programs, and multi-media presentation tools.
- Experience with digital marketing writing, design, or placement.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with budget management in a business setting.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, public relations, or business or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Six years of experience in product marketing, account management, ad agency, or retail promotion, health insurance or healthcare communications or promotion.
- Four years of experience managing product marketing and communications projects.
- Experience managing marketing, communications, or public relations projects and understanding of health insurance products and services.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management and leadership skills.
- Project leadership skills, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and problem-resolution skills.
