Join Our Team as a Registered or Clinical Nurse – Specialise in Acute and Chronic Pain Medicine

Make a meaningful impact by providing expert, person-centred nursing care to postoperative patients while advancing your professional practice in Acute and Chronic Pain Medicine. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialised clinical skills, leadership experience, and contribute to service improvement, education, and protocol development within a supportive, dynamic health environment.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will apply advanced knowledge and experience to deliver specialised nursing care in Acute and Chronic Pain Medicine. You will mentor and support less experienced staff, lead education initiatives, and contribute to service development through writing protocols and guidelines. While the role remains predominantly clinical, you will also undertake portfolio responsibilities aligned with your career development plan, helping to expand service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1), you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings, developing from a novice to proficient practitioner. You will build knowledge in Acute and Chronic Pain Medicine, applying it to postoperative patient care while consolidating your clinical skills through continuous professional development. You will accept accountability for your own standards of care and activities delegated to others.

What We’re Looking For:

RN/M2C

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
• Experience in staff education.

RN/M1

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
