As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1), you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings, developing from novice to proficient practice. You will consolidate knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and accept accountability for your own standards of nursing/midwifery care and activities delegated to others.

As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will deliver nursing services across a variety of health settings, applying experience and advanced knowledge to progress from competent to proficient practice. You will mentor and support less experienced staff, accept accountability for delegated activities, and undertake portfolio responsibilities negotiated in line with your career development plan. While the role remains predominantly clinical, you will play a key part in service delivery, quality initiatives, and team development.

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
