Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and the freezer/cooler/deli areas; handle and stock merchandise; assist members with locating items and making purchasing decisions; ensure proper temperature control, labeling, and expiration-date checks; and support the operation and sanitation of the freezers and coolers.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain safety: follow safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials; report unsafe situations to management.
• Sales floor and merchandising: receive and stock merchandise; set up, clean, and organize displays; remove damaged goods; price and tag merchandise; complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation; secure fragile and high-shrink items.
• Member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, assist with purchasing decisions, provide deli products, resolve issues, and promote products and services.
• Operations: follow food handling policies, operate and sanitize equipment, follow cold chain procedures, clean the area, monitor equipment operation, and report issues to management.

Minimum qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances (schedule, facility, or specific work performed).
