SLC Pool Service is one of Utah’s fastest-growing pool companies. We service residential and commercial pools and are expanding our service & repair division. We’re looking for a mechanically inclined technician who loves solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality craftsmanship.
What You’ll Work On- Gas pool heaters (diagnostics + repair)
- Pumps, motors, filters, valves
- Automated chemical systems
- Pool automation systems (Pentair, Jandy, Hayward)
- Leak repairs, plumbing repairs, flow issues
- Electrical troubleshooting (low‑voltage)
- Routine equipment room maintenance
People with backgrounds in:
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Building maintenance
- Any mechanical trade
- Complete documentation in company system.
- Diagnose, repair and install pool equipment
- Performing work at both residential homes and commercial facilities.
- Travel to customer locations, interact with homeowners, residents/representatives, as well as pool contractors.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Diagnose and repair heaters, pumps, hydraulic systems, automation systems and chemical systems
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Good DMV report
- Must be able to swim
- Can move or lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience using power tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must submit to a criminal background check
- Hunger to learn - we will teach you everything you need to know and will provide all equipment
- Pool and/or Spa service experience, plumbing, or electrical knowledge is a plus – however it is not required.
- Technical aptitude a plus
- Plumbing and/or electrical experience is a huge plus , however not required
