As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will gain hands‑on experience and contribute to various projects across our Pinjarra workshop whilst undertaking formal education to obtain your trade certificate. This position will be working directly under the guidance and mentorship of experienced trade qualified personnel.
About the Role- Full time position
- 10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Based at our Pinjarra Workshop
- Super paid on all hours worked
- A genuine interest in the Fabrication/Engineering industry.
- Preferably you will have some experience using hand and power tools.
- A pre‑vocational course in boiler‑making or welding would be highly advantageous.
- You will have good results in core school subject, especially Maths.
- Preferably have your own transport.
- Able to be flexible in the day‑to‑day role as required.
- Able to pass a medical and supply a police clearance.
- Any tickets would be advantageous but not essential, e.g. Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights.
- Current Manual Driver’s License (preferred)
- Strong work ethics, integrity, and commitment
- Motivated and self‑starter
- Ability to Multitask
- Consistently maintain and provide a safe workplace in accordance with WHS standards.
- Comply with WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
- Must be over 16 years of age
- Ability to pass a full medical
- National Police Clearance
The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre‑employment criteria, including drug and alcohol screening, prior to an offer of employment being made.
