Overview

As a Concrete General Foreman, your primary responsibility is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of concrete construction on our projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of concrete work, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage crews efficiently while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate, and direct concrete crews in all phases of concrete construction, including forming, pouring, and finishing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Schedule, plan, and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
  • Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and maintain high productivity.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including time sheets, material usage, and daily reports.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete placement, reinforcement, finishing, and curing techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, job specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to job site safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical Fitness:
    Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
Schedule
  • Must be available 8 hours 5 days a week: overtime as required by project demands.
