Job Overview
Nikkiso Cryoquip is a leading manufacturer of heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation.
Summary
We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facility. You will operate appropriate equipment to assemble mechanical structures or parts with a high level of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure. A welder must competently use potentially dangerous equipment while following all safety precautions.
The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential. A GTAW pipe test is required to interview for this role.
Hourly Rate
$20–$22

Responsibilities- Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
- Align components using rulers, tape measure, etc., and clamp pieces.
- Weld components using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Verify that weld meets ASME SSC IX specifications.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment and routinely utilizes material handling equipment and various tools and machinery.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Requires lifting and working with various materials and/or tools, bending at different heights, working in various temperatures, and remaining on feet for extended periods.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (GTAW, FCAW‑G).
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.).
- Minimum two years welding and fabrication experience.
- Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
